AMG Sports Package Now Standard on SLK 200 and SLK 350

The all-weather roadster, equipped with the " vario-roof" retractable hardtop,SLK-Classhas been a popular choice since its launch in 2011. This year, in February, it introduced the first manual transmission model in Japan in 21 years,manual transmission modelamong other diverse offerings.

In this latest update, the "SLK 200 Sports," previously fitted with 17-inch tires, now sports newly designed 18-inch five-twin-spoke alloy wheels. Furthermore, equipped with sports suspension, it represents a further evolution.

Additionally, the "SLK 200," powered by a 1.8-liter inline-4 direct-injection turbo engine, and the "SLK 350," with its 3.5-liter V6 direct-injection engine, now come standard with the "AMG Sports Package" to accentuate their sporty character. This package includes exterior enhancements, 18-inch AMG five-spoke alloy wheels, and an interior featuring specially designed sports seats with red stitching accents and an AMG sports steering wheel.





The "AMG Handling Package," available for the top-tier "SLK 55 AMG," has also been revised. This package, which includes equipment to further enhance driving performance such as AMG sports suspension with dedicated tuning and a limited-slip differential, now features wheels painted in matte black. The optional price remains unchanged at 980,000 yen.

The price for the "SLK 200" is now 5.9 million yen, an increase of 100,000 yen from before, while the "SLK 350" remains unchanged at 7.7 million yen.

Prices for other models are as follows: "SLK 200 MT" at 4.93 million yen, "SLK 200 Trend" at 4.98 million yen, "SLK 200 Sports" at 5.25 million yen, and theSLK 55 AMG"SLK 55 AMG" at 10.9 million yen.
