Test Drive Event Held at Sodegaura Forest Speedway
On July 28, 2011, Lamborghini Japan held a test drive event for the Gallardo LP 550-2 at Sodegaura Forest Speedway. Also on display were the LP 550-2 Tricolore, LP 560-4 Bicolore, LP 560-4 Spyder, and LP 570-4 Superleggera.

Equipped with a V10 Engine Producing 550ps and 540Nm of Torque
The Gallardo LP 550-2, the subject of this test drive. Regarding the Gallardo, in May, the LP 560-4 Bicolore, featuring two-tone paint and matching interior, and the LP 550-2 Tricolore, adorned with green, white, and red stripes to commemorate the 150th anniversary of Italian unification, have landed in Japan.LP 550-2 Tricoloretwo special edition models have arrived in Japan.
The LP 550-2 is, in Lamborghini's current lineup,LP 550-2 Valentino Balbonithe only rear-wheel-drive model besides the. It is a sports car powered by a 5.2-liter V10 engine, boasting a maximum output of 550ps/8,000rpm and a peak torque of 540Nm/6,500rpm, with safety ensured by its assistance systems. Furthermore, it demonstrates exceptional acceleration performance with 0-100km/h in just 3.9 seconds and a top speed of 320km/h.
While the exterior follows the traditional design, subtle adjustments have been made to enhance aerodynamics.
For the interior, a customization program called 'Ad Personam' is available, allowing for free selection of combinations for exterior colors, interior trims, and more. This enables the creation of a one-of-a-kind Gallardo.
Four Gallardo Models on Display
At the test drive venue, in addition to the previously introduced LP 560-4 Bicolore and LP 550-2 Tricolore,LP 560-4 Spyderand the LP 570-4 Superleggera were displayed, adding to the occasion.
The LP 560-4 Spyder is an open-top model added in 2005. While maintaining a monobox proportion, it combines this with the unique form of a Spyder, thanks to a steeply raked windshield and reinforced pillars. The soft top can be opened and closed with a single touch. The engine is a 5.2-liter unit that produces a maximum output of 560ps.
The LP 570-4 Superleggera, whose name means "superlight," is a model that achieves a weight reduction of 70kg through extensive use of carbon fiber in its interior and exterior. While the displacement remains 5.2 liters, the maximum output is 570ps. It's a super machine that records 0-100km/h in 3.4 seconds and a top speed of 325km/h.
