LE COUVENT MAISON DE PARFUM is a brand dedicated to creating sophisticated scents using natural ingredients. Its name is derived from the Couvent des Minimes, a convent in France where the foundations of botany were laid. Louis Feuillée, a Minims friar, was appointed by Louis XIV as a botanist. He traveled the world, collecting information on previously unknown plant species, which he compiled into three botanical illustrations presented to the king, thereby establishing the basis of botany in France. Le Couvent was born in honor of Louis Feuillée's adventurous global journeys and his achievements in botany.

In 2019, the brand welcomed the world-renowned perfumer Jean-Claude Ellena as its Olfactive Director. Ellena boasts over 50 years of experience in the prestige fragrance industry. Le Couvent's commitment to using rare and noble natural ingredients resonates with Ellena's creativity, allowing him to maximize the individuality of each botanical element.
