On Wednesday, July 28th, the "Wellness Salon supported by adidas," hosted by The Spa at Mandarin Oriental, Tokyo, will be held at the Mandarin Oriental, Tokyo, a six-star hotel celebrating its fifth anniversary this year.

Training Methods for "Beautiful Joggers" Introduced
Located on the 38th floor of the Mandarin Oriental, Tokyo, the fitness center features floor-to-ceiling windows offering panoramic views of the Tokyo skyline, including the under-construction Tokyo Skytree, the Asakusa and Ryogoku districts, the Sumida River, Tokyo Bay, and on clear days, even Mount Tsukuba and the Boso Peninsula. It is equipped with the latest training machines, including those for Pilates. A major draw is the ability to relax after your workout in the 37th-floor Heat & Water area, with its stunning views, dry and mist saunas, and jet baths.

At the "Wellness Salon supported by adidas" on Wednesday, July 28th, Taro Shirato, an adidas-contracted advisor and sports navigator, will introduce and demonstrate a personal wellness course (6 programs, 70 minutes each) designed to create a "beautiful jogger's" body, specifically for The Spa at Mandarin Oriental, Tokyo. To allow participants to fully experience the benefits of this personal wellness course, all attendees will receive a complimentary fitness center training session.

Taro Shirato
Sports Navigator & Triathlete / adidas Contracted Advisor
As a professional triathlete, he was the first Japanese to compete in the Triathlon World Cup. He then transitioned to Ironman (long-distance) races, continuing his career for many years. He also actively participates in adventure races worldwide. Currently, in addition to his athletic career, he is active as a navigator who explains sports from multiple perspectives, giving lectures and seminars, coordinating races, and serving as the main commentator for cycling road races on SKY PerfecTV (J Sports). In 2008, he founded ATHLONIA to promote triathlon and assumed the role of representative.
