A Running Festival by Women, for Women

RunGirl★Night is a "running festival by women, for women," organized by RunGirl, a group of female runners aiming for social contribution with the concept of "enriching everyday life with the power of running women." The idea for the event originated from a tweet. Starting with a single tweet expressing a desire to create a race, the entire process of its creation was live-tweeted in real-time from the official account (@rungirlnight), connecting with runners nationwide. This led to the establishment of a non-profit event created by female runners captivated by running, who came together as volunteers. On the day of the event, participation will also be possible for those unable to attend through live streaming via Ustream.

The event aims to foster diversity (women's empowerment) and a culture of charity, while revitalizing the Tokyo Bay Area. It will create a "stage" where women can run stylishly and enjoyably, leveraging the unique perspectives and power of female runners. Ten percent of the entry fees will be donated to organizations dedicated to the prevention of breast and cervical cancers, diseases specific to women. Furthermore, to provide an opportunity for women who have not previously been interested in charity to learn about it, charity booths and talk shows will be held at the venue, and various forms of charity will be introduced on the event's website.

Following the run on the day, an after-party will be held with free drinks and food, featuring an awards ceremony and a running wear fashion show, "RunGirl★Collection." Entries will open at midnight on Friday, July 9th.
