AYU PIYASA | Ayurveda Beauty Camp for Healing and Purification
AYU PIYASA
An Ayurvedic Immersion at a Sri Lankan Organic Resort
"Ayurvedic Beauty Camp for Healing and Purification" to be Held
The accommodation is "Ayupiyasa," an Ayurvedic organic resort that opened in the autumn of 2009. Located in Matalé, near the ancient city of Kandy, a UNESCO World Heritage site, in the central-western part of Sri Lanka, it is situated on a lush plateau where neither fans nor air conditioning are needed year-round. The "Ayurvedic Beauty Camp" offers a full program for purifying the mind and body in an environment free from mental and physical stress.

Departing September 20 (Monday): A Luxurious 5 Nights, 6 Days Exclusive Stay in Just 7 Cottages
Ayupiyasa was completed as a resort aiming to be a genuine "residence-style Ayurvedic facility," collaborating with a total of five Ayurvedic specialists. Based on authentic Ayurveda, it provides a luxurious space and time for all guests, with the ultimate goal of mental and physical health and healing.
Following the initial constitution diagnosis upon arrival, each doctor carefully monitors the guests' condition, supporting their physical and mental well-being by prescribing treatments and herbal medicines tailored to their constitution. Furthermore, the Ayurvedic diet, a cornerstone of Ayurveda, is exceptionally comprehensive. Guests can fully enjoy Sri Lankan cuisine made with over 20 types of organic vegetables grown on the resort's own farm, using pure water sourced from the state forest behind the resort.
For the "Ayurvedic Beauty Camp for Healing and Purification" departing September 20 (Monday), beauty therapist Sari Suzuki and beauty journalist Tomokazu Kato have thoroughly supervised the tour program. This unique camp offers a rich array of programs, including personal treatments lasting several hours each day in the dynamic natural surroundings of Sri Lanka's power spots, a diet focused on herbs, an "Emotional Purification Retreat" led by Sari Suzuki, Sri Lankan fortune-telling, a herbal cooking class perfect for internal detoxification, forest yoga, an order event for "Navaratna" spiritual jewelry, and a tour of an Ayurvedic pharmacy.
Praised by both Sari Suzuki, who described it as "a place exceptionally full of vitality among resorts and spas worldwide," and Tomokazu Kato, who stated it was "the first resort I wanted to organize a beauty tour at," this private camp at the Ayurvedic resort "Ayupiyasa" will be limited to around ten participants.
