A natural lily of the valley expressed through an exquisite balance of rose and jasmine
A new fragrance of "lily of the valley and rose" depicted by a young perfumer
"I finished it to smell exactly like the lily of the valley that blooms shyly, hidden among other flowers in my rose garden," says Nicolas Bonneville, a young perfumer who began studying perfumery in Grasse at the age of 15. "It's a fresh and noble scent full of youthful energy." Marie-Hélène Rogeon, owner and creator of Parfums de Rosine Paris, continues, "The flower language of lily of the valley is 'Return of Happiness.' It is said that those who receive it will be happy." "Muguet de Rosine" Eau de Parfum, inspired by the lily of the valley, was released on Friday, April 24th.

Lily of the valley found in a rose garden in Picardy, France
"In France, there is a lovely custom of giving a bouquet of lily of the valley to close friends, loved ones, and family on May 1st to wish for a year of happiness," says Marie. "I found lily of the valley flowers blooming quietly in my rose garden, mixed in with roses and rhododendrons near the walls. Those small white flowers reminded me of that French custom, and I wanted to create a fresh and elegant fragrance of lily of the valley and rose that would be perfect for the month of May," she explains the reason behind the creation of "Muguet de Rosine" Eau de Parfum.
Expressing lily of the valley through an exquisite balance of jasmine and rose
Parfums de Rosine is always exploring the role of rose in fragrance composition. "Rose essence is an indispensable ingredient for creating a lily of the valley fragrance. 'Muguet de Rosine' is also presented as a fragrance supported by Parfums de Rosine's rose scent."
Furthermore, "Actually, it's impossible to extract an essence from lily of the valley flowers, but Nicolas, who is very familiar with the characteristics of fragrances, has skillfully expressed the natural lily of the valley using an exquisite balance of jasmine and rose," says Marie.
Nicolas selected Turkish rose and Egyptian jasmine, known for their highest quality and noble scent, and added a crisp, juicy pear note for a sparkling sense of fun and liveliness. A base of white musk completes this exceptionally natural and sophisticated fragrance.
