The iPad, with an estimated 5 million units to be sold worldwide within 2010 since its US launch on April 3rd, has been a focus for CLINIQUE, a brand known for its cutting-edge global marketing. To coincide with the iPad's release, CLINIQUE developed "Smile" (free), an iPad brand magazine aimed at fostering brand understanding and promoting men's skincare.

The inaugural issue of "Smile" centers on "Smile," inspired by CLINIQUE's brand concept of healthy, beautiful skin. It features interviews with notable individuals who look great smiling, including Keigo Nakamura, a player for the Japan national soccer team. The issue also highlights the lifestyles and professional passions of eight influential figures: photographer and novelist Misashi Fujishiro, SMILES representative Masamichi Toyama, architect Makoto Tanijiri, LANDSCAPE PRODUCTS representative and producer Shinichiro Nakahara, book director and BACH representative Munetaka Haba, designer Taishi Nobukuni (BOTANIKA/TAISHI NOBUKUNI), and BEAMS planning director Hiroshi Doichi.

Furthermore, as brand content, the magazine offers clear video explanations of optimal skincare for men, covering CLINIQUE's history, philosophy, product development policies, and the fundamental "3-Step Skin Care System." It also incorporates new product and campaign information, along with online shopping, all presented through the unique expressive capabilities of the iPad.
