A Fragrance Inspired by the Scents of a Chinese Garden

Launched in 2003, the Hermès "Garden Perfumes" series has previously introduced "Le Jardin de Monsieur Li," "Nile Eau de Toilette," "Un Jardin après la Mousson," and "Un Jardin sur le Toit," inspired by the rooftop garden of the Hermès Faubourg Saint-Honoré store.

Inspired by Hermès' theme for the year, "Flâneur – Always wandering," Ellena chose China as his destination for this journey, a land where "life begins the day one starts to garden."

The scent of ponds, the fragrance of jasmine, the aroma of damp stones, the scent of plum and kumquat trees, the fragrance of a vast bamboo forest—this is the memory of every garden Ellena visited, brought to life in the new fragrance "Un Jardin de Monsieur Li," the fifth in the series. Its scent offers a sense of refuge and tranquility to the heart.

The packaging, designed by Chinese contemporary artist Li Xin, features a beautiful ink river in shades of gray, accentuating the Jaune Impérial bottle, reminiscent of the Yellow River.
