A Perfumer Who Weaves Haute Couture Fragrances for the Senses

Lorenzo Villoresi, the first Italian to win the FiFi Awards in 2006, an honor akin to the Oscars for perfumers. His home fragrances, born from an Italian sensibility combined with meticulous calculation and focus, creating beautiful harmonies, have now arrived in Japan.

Originally a researcher of ancient philosophy, Lorenzo was captivated by spices, essences, and aromatics during a trip to the Middle East in 1981. Upon returning to Italy, he immediately began experimenting with potpourri and fragrances, embarking on his career as a perfumer.

Lorenzo's scents gradually gained recognition, leading to an order from Fendi in 1990 for room fragrances, potpourri, and candles, marking the official start of his fragrance maison business. In 1993, he unveiled his first collection, "UOMO" and "DONNA."

Lorenzo's Signature: "Fantasy Fragrances"

Since 2000, Lorenzo has focused on "olfactory visions – landscapes created through scent." His atelier, THE HOUSE, is a renovated 15th-century noble residence nestled within Florence's historic district, evoking the spirit of the Renaissance.

This atelier, "Via de Bardi," is a comprehensive space featuring a perfume center for events and seminars, an expansive 200m² aromatic garden, a terrace, studios, a library, a research center, and a showroom. It has become a renowned modern salon of the arts, attracting not only those from the perfume industry but also chefs and sommeliers who gather to "study the senses."

The fragrances crafted in this atelier, overlooking the beautiful cityscape, are available as diffusers, room sprays, and candles, each in six distinct scents. They are designed to complement any interior, elevating any space to a higher level of sophistication.

Additionally, the collection includes crystals with a beautiful amber hue, infused with fragrance – like oriental jewels – traditional potpourri meticulously crafted using time-honored methods, and sachets in two fragrances (Lavender and Rose) perfect for suitcases, drawers, and closets.
