The protection levels are SPF50+ and PA+++ (PPD38). While both SPF and PA are at their highest ratings, the PPD value is particularly noteworthy. PPD is the UVA protection factor used in the EU, equivalent to PA. Since a PA rating of '+++' requires a PPD of 8 or higher, a PPD of '38' clearly demonstrates significantly superior protection.
