A Noble Scent Inspired by Valentino Red

News of a new scented candle has arrived from Maria Grazia Chiuri and Pierpaolo Piccioli, the creative directors behind Valentino's ongoing success. Red has been a prominent color in collections since Mr. Valentino's era, becoming the brand's iconic hue. This candle, paying homage to that red, has been named "Rouge Absolu."

A Collaboration with a Parisian Institution

The chosen partner for this collaboration is Cire Trudon. Founded in 1643, the company began crafting candles during the reign of Louis XIV and supplied them to the Palace of Versailles. Each candle, scented with distilled essential oils, is characterized by its delicate and noble fragrance. A unique Valentino scent has been created by combining leather, patchouli, amber, balsam fir, geranium, and jasmine in an original blend. Named "Rouge Absolu," the candle is housed in red hand-blown glass and will be available exclusively at select Valentino stores.
