On January 20th, the press conference for shu uemura's "UV Under Base Mousse" was held at Omotesando Hills. When Yuu Yamada appeared on stage, elegantly and lightly dressed in a Spring/Summer 2010 Valentino gown, the venue erupted in cheers at her beauty.

The newly launched "UV Under Base Mousse" marks the first campaign featuring Yuu Yamada as the shu uemura Beauty Ambassador.
Since its first release in 1990, the UV Under Base Mousse captured fans with its innovative mousse format, a departure from conventional makeup bases. Over the years, it has undergone numerous improvements, with seven iterations released to date. Praised for its thin, lightweight feel and the ability to achieve a flawless finish with ease, even without advanced techniques, it has earned the support of women worldwide.
This is the eighth generation. Equipped with the new "Foam Stabilize Technology," which enhances foam stability, it has evolved into a mousse that is fine-textured and dense, yet spreads thinly on the skin as air is released. Launching on February 19th (Friday), it offers enhanced pore coverage and care, hydration, and sun protection.
The TV commercial featuring Yuu Yamada will also air on the same day (scheduled for display on screens in front of Shibuya Station, as well as outdoor screenings in Marunouchi and Omotesando Hills).
