Frankincense, also known as "nyukō" in Japanese, is the resin of trees belonging to the Boswellia genus of the Burseraceae family. It possesses remarkable beauty-enhancing properties and is said to have been favored by Cleopatra herself. Its history is ancient, having been treasured for at least 5,000 years.

While Boswellia trees are found across the Middle East, African continent, and India, aromatherapy specialist Chiyoko Kusakabe states that "Omani frankincense is of the highest quality." In particular, frankincense harvested from the desert highlands of Oman's southern Dhofar region is known as "Hojari." This is the finest grade, also used in medicinal applications. For this creation, Hojari frankincense, harvested from the scorching desert, has been further meticulously selected. Two types of beauty oils have been born, using a precious essential oil extracted at a rate of just 8mL from 2kg of resin.

The first is "Face Beauty Oil F," an item that allows you to fully experience the effects of frankincense. With a blend optimized for special anti-aging care, it helps to balance hormones, diminish wrinkles, and promote firm, elastic skin. It will be available from Sunday, November 30th.

The other, "Face Beauty Oil N," blends frankincense with neroli to nurture both mind and skin. It addresses nasolabial folds, leaving the skin looking plump and moisturized, while also featuring a luxurious blend of essential oils to calm the mind. The scents of flowers offer a soothing balm. This product is scheduled for release on Thursday, January 8th, 2015.

Beyond use as a facial beauty oil for morning and evening routines, these oils can also be applied to the scalp and hair, or used as a fragrance. Furthermore, the aromatic compounds in frankincense possess calming properties, offering relief from daily stress and potentially alleviating menopausal symptoms.
