Gisele Bündchen Embodies the Independent, Beautiful Woman
The muse symbolizing an era transitions from Nicole Kidman in 2004 to Gisele Bündchen in 2014. Nicole Kidman's appearance in the 2004 "No5" advertisement garnered significant attention for its portrayal of an unattainable love for a star admired by all. In contrast, the woman portrayed by Gisele Bündchen in this new film is an independent individual who takes pride in her work, raises her child, and enjoys surfing in the early morning, living a life of her own. Then, a man played by Michiel Huisman appears...
The new advertising film features the nostalgic hit song "You're The One That I Want" from the movie "Grease," sung by LA-based singer-songwriter Lo Fang, throughout its entirety, hinting at the unfolding romance between Gisele Bündchen and Michiel Huisman.
"No.5": The First "Abstract" Fragranceo5"
Chanel's "No5," launched in 1921, remains an eternal symbol of femininity. Created by the first perfumer, Ernest Beaux, Mademoiselle Chanel's request was to "create a perfume for women that expresses women."
At a time when single floral, or concrete, scents predominated, "No5" introduced a completely new concept to the world of fragrance: "abstraction."
A New Era of Fragrance, Blending Natural and Synthetic Notes
Ernest Beaux moved beyond the scent of any single flower to construct a rich floral bouquet. By combining over 80 natural ingredients, including precious Jasmine from Grasse and Rose de Mai, with synthetic aldehydes, he revolutionized the world of perfumery.
"No5," a symbol of the timeless style created by Mademoiselle Chanel, continues to exude an unchanging allure with its emerald-cut bottle, beloved by leading women throughout the ages.
