Luxurious Use of the Finest Vetiver
The perfumery maison Oriza L. Legrand, a purveyor to royalty since the era of Louis XV, is a historic brand founded in 1720 by the family of Jean Louis Fargeon, Marie Antoinette's perfumer.
This esteemed house was vividly revived in 2012 by two Parisians. The fragrances they offer are modern interpretations of scents created in the early 1900s, drawing attention as a cutting-edge brand with a vintage soul.
Now, the "Soli-Flore Line," which focuses on a single ingredient, welcomes the new "Vétiver Royal Bourbon Eau de Parfum."
It features "Vétiver Bourbon" from Réunion, renowned for its rarity and high quality, recreating a fragrance originally launched in 1914, unearthed from extensive archives.
The fragrance opens with the uplifting freshness of herbs and noble vetiver, followed by the resinous sweetness of labdanum and the mild woody notes of sandalwood and iris, which enhance the vetiver. Smoky nuances of leather and tobacco add depth, creating a scent that evokes the softness and deep luster of velvet.
"Vétiver Royal Bourbon Eau de Parfum" maximizes the allure of vetiver, imbued with European history. As the fragrance warms on the skin, becoming one with the body, one can only surrender to its fleeting, blissful intoxication.
