Beauty Up Seminar "NY-Inspired Mode Makeup Tips" to Be Held
SHISEIDO Top Hair & Makeup Artist Miyako Okamoto will introduce the latest trendy mode makeup techniques perfect for this autumn and winter!──On Sunday, October 26th, the "NY-Inspired Mode Makeup Tips" Beauty Up Seminar will be held at Faro Slow Time in the Tokyo Ginza Shiseido Building. Phone reservations for seminar participants will begin on Wednesday, October 1st.

Miyako Okamoto, who leads the SHISEIDO artist team and is responsible for makeup backstage at brands such as "A Détacher" and "Barbara Tfank," in addition to SHISEIDO's advertising shoots, is highly trusted by designers, international stylists, and models alike for her edgy techniques.
This Beauty Up Seminar will feature lectures on mode makeup that can be incorporated immediately, with demonstrations using models on "eyeshadow color selection" and "advanced false eyelash techniques" that will define this season's trends. Furthermore, the latest mode beauty trends for Spring/Summer 2015, which Okamoto has just brought back from the recent New York Collection, will also be introduced.

Date: Sunday, October 26th
Time: Two sessions daily, starting at 11:00 AM and 2:30 PM (approx. 90 minutes each)
Participation Fee: ¥2,000 (tax included) *Includes a drink from Faro Slow Time

After a five-year assignment in New York starting in 1998, she served as makeup chief for numerous maison at the New York and Paris Collections, earning deep trust from designers. Her fashion and beauty sense, honed at the forefront of mode, is highly acclaimed by many actresses and talents, and she has a large following. She is currently active in SHISEIDO's CM, graphic, TV, and magazine shoots, and appears on TV Asahi's "BeauTV VoCE."
