A Modern Interpretation of a Legendary Fragrance: An Enchantingly Gentle, Sensual Scent

Shalimar, a legendary fragrance whose name means “temple of love” in Sanskrit. Since its creation in 1925, this, the world's first oriental fragrance, has been cherished by women worldwide for its sensual blend of sweet florals and vanilla. This winter, in 2014, it is reborn with a new interpretation, named "Shalimar Souffle de Parfum." True to its name, "souffle" meaning gentle breeze, its tender floral oriental scent, like a soft caress on the skin, invites you on a journey of ultimate sensuality. It opens with fresh, bright citrus, primarily "bergamot," leading to a heart where transparent "jasmine" and orange blossom water absolute whisper sensually, finally settling into a base of gentle, enveloping "vanilla" and white musk. This new Shalimar, which refines the three key ingredients of the original Shalimar to be "lighter, brighter, and gentler," is remarkably modern and makes the wearer shine with captivating radiance. Available in limited quantities from December 1st.
