Launched in 2012, the fragrance "Parfums Pleats Please Issey Miyake" welcomes a new addition to its series. The new scent, "L’EAU," will be released simultaneously on Wednesday, February 26th, at all direct-managed Pleats Please stores and authorized department stores nationwide. Inspired by the theme of "fresh air," L’EAU offers a dewy fragrance centered around wild rose and Bulgarian rose.
To commemorate the launch of this new fragrance, its perfumer, Aurélien Guichard, will visit Japan on Friday, March 14th, for a talk event titled "- Design as Scent - 'Perfumes as Invisible Design' by Aurélien Guichard." The event will unveil the little-known charms of "scent" and "perfume," and introduce the veiled world of "perfumery" and the forefront of fragrance development.
The talk event will be held twice on Friday, March 14th, 2014: the first session opens at 4:00 PM (doors open at 3:00 PM), and the second at 7:00 PM (doors open at 6:00 PM). The venue is Tokyo Midtown Hall B. For participation applications, please refer to the website (www.pleatsplease.com).
