Around 500 Female Runners Gathered!

"RunGirl" is a collective of female runners founded by women in the fashion, beauty, and media industries. With the concept of "enriching everyday life with the power of running women," they aim for social contribution with "women" and "running" as keywords. The "RunGirl★Night" held this time was a marathon event with various content designed to help women continue running enjoyably and beautifully. Approximately 500 female runners, dressed in colorful attire, gathered on the day.

The main venue was the Sun Plaza in Shiokaze Park. Under a scorching sun with a peak temperature of 37 degrees Celsius, booths offered services unique to a women's event, such as nail art, aroma sports massages, Ayura cosmetic touch-and-try stations, anemia screenings for women, and health consultations with female doctors. Food booths featuring healthy and voluminous options were also set up. On stage, there were RUN makeup lessons by Hiromi Yamamoto and leg-toning exercises by SATOMI An☆Do, allowing the RunGirls to enjoy the event in their own ways. As the sun began to set and the heat subsided, the main event, the marathon, commenced along the course by the bay in the pleasant sea breeze of the Tokyo Bay area. After crossing the finish line, participants received not only a certificate but also a surprise gift of a Follie Follie beach towel. The participation gift, an original shoe case co-developed with the special sponsor Belle Maison, also captured the hearts of the female runners. Following the run, a sunset Gyrotonic session led by celebrity trainer Aya Uchida was held for cool-down.

After-Party Featured the RunGirl Collection

An after-party was held at "the SOHO" following the run. Amidst the sense of camaraderie born from the post-run sense of accomplishment, attendees enjoyed healthy food and drinks, and the pleasant sounds of a girls' DJ. The fashion show "FRaU presents RunGirl Collection," showcasing the latest running wear from Adidas, Puma, Asics, Reebok, and Mizuno, took place, bringing the RunGirl★Night to a successful close.

Regarding future activities, Yoshiko Udagawa, a RunGirl member and executive committee chair of RunGirl★Night, stated, "Moving forward, as the general incorporated association RunGirl, we plan to engage in various activities with women and running as keywords.
