Charming Appeal of False Eyelashes
Shu Uemura, a cosmetics brand founded by the pioneering Japanese makeup artist Shu Uemura, is renowned for its simple yet luxurious items that blend "nature, science, and art." These products have garnered high praise from top artists worldwide. On April 4th (Thursday), the Shu Uemura counter at Tokyu Department Store Toyoko was reborn with a renewal. In conjunction with this, "Shu Lash," a new corner showcasing Shu Uemura's false eyelashes, has opened on the first floor of the Tokyu Toyoko Store West Building.
This "Shu Lash" is part of the new counter design introduced alongside the shop's renovation. A striking display features 25 bears, each meticulously makeup-ed with Shu Uemura's diverse range of false eyelashes—from minimalist styles to avant-garde designs perfect for party scenes. These bears are arranged across a 2.5m x 2.5m wall, creating an undeniable impact. Adjacent to this vibrant tableau, a 60-inch monitor adds to the visual allure, ensuring the display captures attention amidst the bustling crowds of Shibuya.
The revamped interior now offers a space where customers can freely try cosmetics and receive personalized advice, from makeup application to skincare, making it a destination filled with inspiration for beauty enhancement.
These charming and stylish bears are sure to bring a smile to anyone's face. They might even make waiting for a tardy friend a more enjoyable experience.
