Fragrance That Invites the Wonders of the Outside World Indoors
On Monday, November 5, 2018, LOUIS VUITTON will launch four types of perfumed candles. The inspiration comes from "travel," which has been the essence of Louis Vuitton since its founding. Each candle captures a moment in time, as if freezing the flow of time, with a scent that revives the emotion each time the flame is lit.

Perfumed Candles for a Scented Journey Indoors
The Maison's Master Perfumer Jacques Cavallier-Belletrud expressed the duality of uplifting nature and the comfort sought in a home through four scents.
The handmade ceramic vessel is equipped with a handle hand-stitched from the Maison's iconic natural leather.
The design resembles a souvenir from a foreign land, meant to be displayed as a lasting memento of a journey.
L'Air du Jardin
The fresh scent of rosebuds drifting from the garden into the home.
A fragrance celebrating Rose Centifolia, also known as "the rose of May." While rose is an ingredient often thought to lose its character when concentrated in wax, this candle allows it to bloom naturally, exuding its delicate fragrance with transparency.

Île Blanche
Warm island sunlight filtering through a veil of white cotton.
To express the contrast between the sea and the sun, the scent of maté tea is combined with orange, jasmine sambac, neroli essence, and cardamom. It eventually dissolves into notes of citronella and verbena, bringing a sense of calm to the mind.

Feuilles d'Or
The scent of dry underbrush, absorbed through clothing during a forest walk.
The strength of Indonesian patchouli is softened by the addition of Virginia cedarwood, while still expressing the aroma of patchouli itself. Heat brings a mystical depth, with the distinct notes of geranium and balsam weaving through an imaginary forest.

Doré, l'Hiver Neige
A captivating snowfall viewed through a window, with a crackling fireplace in the background.
A blend of star anise and cinnamon evokes gingerbread and winter festivities, while frankincense expresses the softness of a cashmere blanket. The middle notes feature aldehydes, suggesting a piercing whiteness and brightness. To balance this, raspberry notes emerge in the base.
