Custom-Blended "CHANTILLY": A Sweet, Dramatic Floral Note

Founded in Paris's Marais district in 2013, Huygens is a custom-made cosmetics brand. From its natural skincare series to body care, its extensive lineup supports skin health. The brand also embodies a "manufacturing-integrated store" concept, rare in cosmetics, by adopting a "Bespoke Style" where customers choose one of 15 BIO-certified fragrances to be blended on-site in the store's lab. Fragrances stored carefully in a wine cellar are served exceptionally fresh, without oxidation.

Huygens, which has gained popularity by releasing seasonal fragrances each season, presents "Chantilly" to color Spring 2018. This floral note is an exquisite fusion of lushness, sweetness, and the bitter notes of plants and fruits. The fragrance, a masterful blend of seven essential oils, evokes a Parisian garden bathed in gentle sunlight after rain.

Damask Rose

Its rich, noble sweetness is captivating. Containing numerous vitamins, it not only provides elasticity and radiance to the skin but is also expected to help balance hormones.

Geranium

It has a sweetness similar to rose, with a hint of spice. Believed to promote circulation and aid in the elimination of excess water and waste products, this essential oil may help reduce swelling and combat obesity.

Benzoin

Its sweet, comforting aroma, reminiscent of vanilla or baked goods, offers excellent calming and anti-inflammatory effects. This essential oil is ideal for seasons when skin condition tends to fluctuate.

Palmarosa

It possesses a lush, rose-like sweetness. Said to revitalize skin cells, it addresses various skin conditions, promoting a healthy state. It is also suitable for scalp care.

Lemongrass

Its citrusy aroma invigorates the senses. Known to improve lymphatic flow, ease muscle tension, and be effective against cellulite, this essential oil also offers astringent properties.

Bitter Orange

An aroma that uplifts the spirit. It balances sebum production, helping to regulate skin conditions that can be prone to imbalance in spring, leading to a healthy and refreshed appearance.

Clove
