Kiehl’s, a skincare brand with roots in New York apothecary (pharmacy) and over 165 years of history since its founding in 1851, has released its new Vitamin C serum, “Kiehl’s DS Line-Concentrate 12.5C.”

Developed with dermatologists, the “Dermatological Skin (DS) Line” gave birth to “Kiehl’s DS Line-Concentrate PS 10.5 C” in 2005. It is now said to sell one unit every minute worldwide, making it Kiehl’s best-selling product. This highly popular serum has been enhanced after 89 trials.
“Kiehl’s DS Line-Concentrate 12.5 C” increases the amount of Vitamin C by approximately 20% compared to the previous version, to a total of 12.5%. In addition to the 10.5% pure Vitamin C (ascorbic acid) in the previous product, it now contains 2.5% Vitamin C derivative (ascorbyl glucoside).
Pure Vitamin C instantly blends into the skin upon application, while the Vitamin C derivative allows for more sustained penetration of stable Vitamin C. The combined action of these two types of Vitamin C delivers immediate skin smoothness and a lasting sense of skin health with continued use.
Newly added hyaluronic acid replenishes moisture, leading to plump, smooth, and refined skin. As before, the formula avoids water to prevent Vitamin C degradation, ensuring its stable efficacy. The citrus scent derived from essential oils also offers a refreshing mood.
