A Modern, Luxurious, Aromatic Rose Fragrance
In 1870, William Penhaligon, the founder of Penhaligon's, opened his barbershop, "PENHALIGON’S EST. LONDON 1870." Within the same building was a Turkish bath, where people would not only groom themselves but also escape the everyday, relaxing their minds and bodies.
Inspired by the scent of steam rising from the gaps in the Turkish bath doors, Penhaligon's first fragrance, "Hammam Bouquet Eau de Toilette," was born two years after the barbershop opened.
Nearly 150 years later, a new women's fragrance, "Savoy Steam Eau de Parfum," has been released, paying homage to "Hammam Bouquet," the scent that became the brand's origin.
The inspiration comes from a Victorian-era Turkish bath for women.
Vibrant green notes and a mist of fresh rose evoke a luxurious steam. Rose, rosemary, and pink pepper resonate, creating a modern and luxurious aroma.
"Savoy Steam Eau de Parfum," with its bottle accented by a bow tie reminiscent of Turkish summer towels, "fouta," symbolizes Penhaligon's origins. Its noble scent is sure to captivate many.
