L’OFFICINE UNIVERSELLE BULY is a comprehensive apothecary originating from Paris, France. While adhering to ancient methods, it proposes the virtues and techniques of beauty ingredients enhanced by the latest technology.

From the late 18th century, founder Jean-Vincent Bully gained renown as a composer of perfumes and scented vinegars. From its founding in 1803, the brand's perfume-making methods, usage, and ideas garnered significant attention.

In 2014, this historic apothecary was revived in Paris, launching boutiques inspired by the golden era of French beauty.

L’OFFICINE UNIVERSELLE BULY has now landed in Japan, following its openings in Paris, London, Taipei, and Seoul.

While remaining faithful to ancient methods, the brand offers additive-free products that have been refined to exclude parabens, silicones, and other such ingredients. The lineup is extensive, featuring unique products made with traditional Japanese materials, as well as items for face, body, oral care, and men's grooming.


Additionally, the apothecary offers a variety of beauty tools, including essential oils, powders, clays, soaps, sponges, combs, brushes, and nail clippers.

The boutique's interior design is divided: one half retains the original ambiance with oak furniture and marble counters crafted by French artisans, while the other half features a futuristic, minimalist design inspired by Japan. Over 100 perfume bottles, apothecary jars, and vessels made of glass and ceramic are displayed throughout.

Upon entering the boutique, guests are greeted at a counter where pharmacists and perfumers offer detailed advice on the apothecary's unique beauty products, their methods of creation, and their intended uses and application.
