NARS will launch the first release of its "SARAH MOON FOR NARS" color collection on Friday, November 11, 2016. A "NARS MAKE UP EVENT" will also be held at Shinjuku Isetan from Saturday, November 12 to Sunday, November 13, where you can experience the "SARAH MOON FOR NARS COLOR COLLECTION" firsthand.

An Invitation into the World of Fashion Photographer Sarah Moon
This 2016 holiday collection is a collaboration between NARS founder and Creative Director FRANCOIS NARS and French fashion photographer SARAH MOON. A limited-edition collection that invites you to modern femininity through delicate and ethereal visuals and products will be released.
Sarah Moon, originally from the city of Vichy in central France, began her illustrious career as a fashion model in the 1960s. Her romantic and often dreamlike photographs have been featured in numerous fashion campaigns for brands such as Chanel, Dior, and Comme des Garçons, and she has held exhibitions in Paris, Kyoto, Tokyo, and New York. She is a highly sought-after fashion photographer today. Drawing inspiration from everything from Japanese fashion and books to silent films, Sarah has infused NARS and the world of beauty with a blend of modernity and a love for tradition.
Regarding his work with her, François Nars commented enthusiastically, "Sarah is a wonderful fashion photographer who pursues beauty in her work. From dusty pastels to smoky neutrals. I think it took maybe only an hour in total to create the collection. It was that easy. Sarah loves beautiful, deep red colors. And smoky eyes, too."
The first color collection features a total of 6 products in 13 shades, boasting the latest innovative formulas and color palettes, available in limited quantities from Friday, November 11.
To commemorate the launch, a "NARS MAKE UP EVENT" will be held at Shinjuku Isetan from Saturday, November 12 to Sunday, November 13, allowing visitors to experience the "SARAH MOON FOR NARS COLOR COLLECTION" firsthand. At the venue, makeup stylists active in backstage work, photoshoots, and events both domestically and internationally will offer makeup advice to enhance each customer's unique charm.

Additionally, NARS International Makeup Stylist Marco Castro will visit Japan on the following dates to provide makeup consultations. Marco is highly regarded in the industry, with celebrity clients such as Naomi Campbell, Penélope Cruz, and Shakira. He continues to express NARS's philosophy and François's artistry through various methods as NARS International Makeup Stylist.
