Unique Art Pieces Cast from Breasts
Under the slogan "I Love Boobies!", "The Keep A Breast" engages in activities such as promoting breast cancer prevention and early detection, and supporting breast cancer patients through topics that interest people in their 20s and 30s, including "fashion," "art," and "music." To celebrate its official launch in Japan, an exhibition of "breast cast art," one of "The Keep A Breast" initiatives, will be held at Omotesando Hills.
Breast cast art, which has seen participation from renowned musicians and artists such as Katy Perry and Pink overseas, involves creating unique artworks by casting the chest and then having artists freely paint and decorate them. It is recognized as a powerful messaging tool for breast cancer awareness and a signature activity of "The Keep A Breast."
The "Keep A Breast TOKYO LOVE SHOW" exhibition will feature 50 breast cast artworks, created from molds of the chests of Japanese celebrities active in various fields, including Erika Ungar (Official Nutrition Consultant for Miss Universe Japan), Arisa Urahama (model), Kosuke Kitajima (swimmer), and Tadahiro Nomura (judoka), as well as international figures. These casts have been designed by artists such as Jimmy Onishi and other renowned global artists. The artworks will be available for viewing and purchase worldwide via the internet concurrently with the event. We Love Boobies! We will continue to pay attention to this unique initiative that encourages young individuals to cherish their own bodies.
