Monet explains, "When I began working on this new creation, I wanted to use different types of wood, combining a fresh scent with a sensual depth. That's when I discovered Palo Santo, a sacred wood native to South America. I was immediately captivated by its mystical aroma, which shamans used to ward off evil spirits and disease."

In addition to Palo Santo, Monet expertly blended bergamot, petitgrain, nutmeg, Atlas cedar, guaiac wood, vetiver, incense, myrrh, and cistus. "The precious musk, combined with the woody notes, creates an even more comforting and profound depth. My aim was to craft a fragrance that evokes a sense of wonder and a peaceful feeling, like a prayer reaching the heavens."

Palo Santo is a magical wood revered by the Inca people for its mysterious properties, offering benefits such as relaxation, antioxidant effects, and spiritual power. Historically, South Americans, particularly Peruvians, have used it extensively as medicine, and its incense is believed to repel evil.
This sacred wood grows in arid regions and takes two years to develop its full properties. Traditionally, cutting down the trees has been forbidden, and today, it is protected as an endangered species in South America, especially Ecuador, with logging prohibited. Palo Santo emits a woody, amber, and resinous, spicy aroma, softly fragrant with fresh floral notes.
