Great East Japan EarthquakeSix months have passed since the Great East Japan Earthquake. In May, L’Artisan Parfumeur held a charity concert of scent and music in Ishinomaki City, Miyagi Prefecture, as the “Hope Hedge Project.” Now, the brand is launching its second reconstruction support initiative, “Project Papillons.”

A Project to Deliver and Bloom Beautiful Flowers for Ishinomaki's Regeneration
Though the road to recovery is long, as long as our hope and imagination for reconstruction endure, the streets of Tohoku will once again be filled with fragrance, flowers, light, and smiles.—L’Artisan Parfumeur believes this and has implemented the “Hope Hedge Project” in May, followed by the current “Project Papillons.”

For “Project Papillons,” until October 2nd (Sunday), visitors can write messages of hope for the disaster-stricken areas on cards featuring butterfly illustrations (pictured left), available at the L’Artisan Parfumeur Omotesando Main Store.
For each card collected, L’Artisan Parfumeur will deliver a flower seedling to a home in Ishinomaki City, Miyagi Prefecture, along with the scent of “La Chasse aux Papillons” and your message.
The number of flowers blooming in Ishinomaki will reflect the collective hope for recovery.
Let us create a story together, delivering and blooming beautiful flowers in the towns of Tohoku.
