N°19 POUDRE EAU DE PARFUM

Elegance inherited from "N°19," launched in 1970.──"N°19 POUDRE EAU DE PARFUM" will be available for special pre-sale from Friday, August 19th, Mademoiselle Chanel's birthday and the origin of the "N°19" name, at Isetan Shinjuku, Yokohama Takashimaya, Kyoto Takashimaya, and Osaka Takashimaya. A nationwide release will follow on Friday, August 26th.

The Secret of the Delicate, Cloud-Like Powdery Scent...

In 1970, "19" emerged as a new number in the world of fragrance. Since its launch, it has been etched in people's hearts as a symbol of "elegance," a green floral centered on iris, loved by all women. In the summer of 2011, a new chapter named "Poudré" was added to its history.

Chanel's perfumer, Jacques Polge, reveals the secret behind the delicate, cloud-like powdery scent. "The powder derived from iris rhizomes has long been used on hair and face. Inspired by this, I decided to add an unprecedented new powdery note to the N°19 formula, along with next-generation musks from the latest research."

Respecting the original fragrance's composition, N°19 Poudré possesses the same lightness and airy feel as the original N°19. It gently caresses the skin, with the iris scent blooming softly amidst a smooth, gentle whisper.

First, the freshness of Neroli and Mandarin from Grasse, France, unfolds. Then, Iris Pallida (the specific variety) appears, blending with the dry, complex notes of Haitian Vetiver root to release a noble and feminine scent reminiscent of powder compacts and lipsticks.

Eventually, the iris is enveloped in soft, warm white musk, harmonizing with the light, almond-like scent of Tonka Bean, transforming into an even more comforting aroma.
