NEHAN TOKYO, offering the popular Epsom salt from Europe and America, has opened.
NEHAN TOKYO, a concept shop primarily featuring bath salt brands, has opened on June 19th (Friday). It is operated by Mai Kasei Kogyo, a 410-year-old established manufacturer based in Naruto City, Tokushima Prefecture, which focuses on creating earnest and unique products by merging industrial products with art. In addition to bath salts, the shop offers a curated selection of organic and natural bath items, lifestyle goods, and local products from Tokushima, Mai Kasei's home prefecture.

Mai Kasei Kogyo Co., Ltd., headquartered and operating its factory in Naruto City, Tokushima Prefecture, which runs NEHAN TOKYO, was founded in 1599 by Shichirobei Mai, a salt production technician, the year before the Battle of Sekigahara. After approximately 400 years, it is now an established manufacturer boasting the No. 1 domestic share of magnesium sulfate (Epsom salt). The bath item and art fusion brand, "UMAI," was launched by the 15th generation. The brand name "UMAI" is pronounced "YUMAI," meaning YOU's MIND.
