Special Bio Beauty Event Held

This spring, "Adam et Ropé Biotop," a space designed to maintain the natural ecosystem of all living things, including humans, has reopened. On September 6th (Mon.) and 7th (Tues.), "Adam et Ropé Biotop," a major fashion and beauty destination in Shirokanedai, and "Bio PASCAL," an exclusive salon frequented by celebrities, will collaborate with Paris-based SHIGETA for a special Bio Beauty event.

A special talk show featuring Chiaki Yoshikawa, representative of Bio PASCAL and beauty expert, and Chico SHIGETA, founder of SHIGETA. They will discuss the latest Bio Beauty information from Japan and Paris, as well as their personal beauty routines.

Chiaki Yoshikawa
Beauty expert and organic coordinator. Based on the philosophy that "the highest beauty is granted by the power of nature and plants," she proposes natural and beautiful lifestyles for women from various perspectives, including cosmetics, skincare, spa treatments, women's health, diet, and traditional Chinese medicine. She presides over seven salons and shops that emphasize a natural aesthetic, such as Jurlique Shop Aoyama and Bio PASCAL Shirokanedai, as well as the PR room "Bio Daikanyama" for organic and natural cosmetics. Her latest book is "Just Stop Washing Your Face with Foam!" (Kodansha).

Until August 24th (Tues.), the "10th Anniversary Natural Beauty Style Exhibition ~Let's Start! Natural Living with Organic Cosmetics~" is being held on the 10th floor event hall of JR Nagoya Takashimaya. Under the planning and supervision of Chiaki Yoshikawa, 51 brands, from facial cosmetics like "SHIGETA" and "BE MY SELF" (making their debut in Nagoya department stores) to body care, hand care, and hair care brands, are gathered. Special events with Chiaki Yoshikawa are also being held.

The Adam et Ropé Shirokanedai main store retains its exterior, which has blended into the neighborhood over 20 years, while a treehouse, symbolizing "Adam et Ropé," has been installed in the courtyard's camphor tree. In addition to the latest fashion items, the store features an L.A.-based vintage corner, a botanical shop offering plant-filled living, and a new lineup of natural cosmetics. A restaurant offering a relaxing experience is also available on the top floor. With creative direction by stylist Takashi Kumagai, and production by treehouse expert Takashi Kobayashi and FUGA green coordinator Hiroshi Kobayashi, along with restaurateur Yoichi Yamamoto for the 3rd floor, professionals from various fields have come together to create an unprecedented shop.
