A scent that plunges into the mysterious and majestic night.

The addition of a new worldview of mysterious black and the scent of night to the ISSEY MIYAKE PARFUMS lineup was achieved through a collaboration between two perfumers: Dominique Ropion, who has created nearly 100 fragrances over a career spanning more than 30 years and received the French Order of Arts and Letters in 2012, and Loc Dong, born in Saigon, Vietnam, known as the first Asian perfumer.

Master perfumer Dominique Ropion's commitment to and selection of raw material quality, combined with Loc Dong's approach to the fictional scent of "dark wood," adds further mystery and depth to the fragrance's development.




The sharp, vibrant, and mysterious scent of "Nuit d'Issey Eau de Toilette" encompasses liveliness, richness, and power, akin to an ode to trees. The top notes begin with bergamot, possessing masculine elegance, and grapefruit, with its sparkling vivacity and gentle freshness.

The middle notes feature a leather accord that enhances spicy black pepper, while woody vetiver emanates a fragrant aroma. The base notes embody power with "dark wood," patchouli, and incense woven into a rich harmony, complemented by the gentle, mellow, and elegant scent of tonka bean, leaving a sweet lingering trail.

Agnès Satin, the Marketing Director who visited Japan for the product launch, commented as follows, holding the black bottle of "NUIT D'ISSEY," which embodies mystery itself.
