Nude Makeup Has Taken Hold

Recently, I had the opportunity to interview university students and was surprised when all five asked about their favorite makeup replied, "Brown tones!" Nude makeup has truly taken hold. While spring and summer often saw colorful eye makeup, brown gradation is incredibly popular this year. Nude Makeup: Actually a Bit Tricky to Get Right

The once-ubiquitous "enclosed eye" look has faded, and this spring/summer, even eyeliner is applied more subtly. Those university students also mentioned that liquid or gel eyeliners can look too harsh, so they prefer pencils for a more natural effect. Instead, they recommend using black mascara on both upper and lower lashes to create a wide-eyed look. However, brown eye makeup, precisely because it's natural, risks looking blurred. On the other hand, applying a harsh eyeliner can make one look dated. So, is nude makeup a bit tricky to get right? Yes, it can be.
