Nude makeup is trending. This season, brown is indispensable for creating eye contour, no matter what anyone says. Therefore, we introduce KOSÉ's "Visee Glam Nude Eyes," which features five shades all in the beige to brown spectrum. They are affordably priced, easy to use, and allow for simple nude makeup.

Nude Makeup Has Taken Hold
Recently, I had the opportunity to interview university students and was surprised when all five asked about their favorite makeup replied, "Brown tones!" Nude makeup has truly taken hold. While spring and summer often saw colorful eye makeup, brown gradation is incredibly popular this year. Some products offer single shades for contouring, but KOSÉ's "Visee Glam Nude Eyes," released on January 16th, is a 5-color set ranging from beige to brown. The basic technique involves applying the lightest shade across the entire lid, then using darker shades to create gradation along the lash line, making it easy for anyone to achieve a sculpted look.
Among these, the N-3 gold beige shade is an all-purpose color that suits any skin tone. The key is the base color in the upper right, which has a creamy texture and enhances color payoff. Apply this first to brighten and even out the eyelids. Then, apply the colors counter-clockwise, gradually shifting. The deepest brown is for the lash line, and it's also applied to about one-third of the lower lash line from the outer corner. Finally, apply the shiny color from the bottom right in a rounded shape on the high point of the eyelid.
Nude Makeup: Actually a Bit Tricky to Get Right
The once-ubiquitous "enclosed eye" look has faded, and this spring/summer, even eyeliner is applied more subtly. Those university students also mentioned that liquid or gel eyeliners can look too harsh, so they prefer pencils for a more natural effect. Instead, they recommend using black mascara on both upper and lower lashes to create a wide-eyed look. However, brown eye makeup, precisely because it's natural, risks looking blurred. On the other hand, applying a harsh eyeliner can make one look dated. So, is nude makeup a bit tricky to get right? Yes, it can be. But with this "Visee Glam Nude Eyes N-3," the contour shade truly serves its purpose, and the shimmer is beautiful.
Indeed, while overly shimmery nude makeup can look out of place on mature skin, this product's color payoff and shimmer are refined enough for adults to use successfully. It's also excellent for controlling the intensity of the color by using fingers, a tip, or a brush depending on the area. Given its affordable price, I believe it's a valuable 5-color eyeshadow set. If you're considering trying nude makeup, definitely give this a try!!
A Word from My Hometown (Tosa Dialect)!
“Apparently, nude makeup is really popular now. It’s all about using brown tones to create subtle shading without being too colorful. This eyeshadow set has five elegant beige to brown shades, so even those a bit older can use it well.”
