A Slightly Ivory-Toned Beige Suits Me

The weather remains unpredictable, but as we head towards the rainy season, the "trench coat," a classic icon, becomes indispensable. While Burberry and Aquascutum are the quintessential brands for trench coats, you can now find many evolved, modern versions. A few years ago, I bought a trench-style coat with puff sleeves, and it's been incredibly useful!

This spring, I found a trench coat from "Escada Sport" with a feminine, slim silhouette. The epaulets, light blue piping, and cuff details are elegantly crafted. For me, a slightly ivory-toned beige suits me better than a khaki beige. Even a subtle difference in color can change how my complexion looks.

I also like to change up the belt on my trench coat. Adding a sparkling belt, a three-stripe patterned belt, or a scarf can transform this classic item.

I also bought some loose-fitting beige pants, a chunky khaki-beige knit, and suede shoes. A relaxed knit for summer is essential for a luxurious feel. It's stylish to wear over a colorful swimsuit in a resort setting. Being surrounded by beige is my current mood.

I hadn't shopped for a while, so I guess my shopping switch has finally been flipped for summer (laughs). For me, shopping is a catalyst that motivates me to work hard, so it's very important.

There are also many beautiful makeup items emerging. My current favorites are these exquisite eyeshadows and nail polishes that create a perfect skin tone finish.

Particularly striking is Dior's new "5 Couleurs Couture L," which was just announced the other day. It's described as a "serum eyeshadow" packed with beauty serum ingredients, essential for creating the ultimate natural makeup that suits you?! It feels quite new! The central lift primer (base) being rich in serum is unique. The color variations are beautifully skin-toned, in true Dior fashion, so this is definitely one to watch (scheduled for release on June 3rd).

While an overall beige monotone look is sophisticated and beautiful, adding just a touch of vivid color to the beige tones makes it more contemporary. I'm thinking of pairing it with a bright lipstick, or perhaps a bag or belt in purple or yellow!
