Rental Mansion "LIFE" Where "Architecture and Art" Coexist is Born | Daiwa House Gallery

<strong>Daiwa House</strong><br />An installation experience in Japan's first dedicated resident meditation space.
<strong>Daiwa House</strong><br />"LIFE," a unique apartment complex (rental condominium) completed in Takatsu Ward, Kawasaki City.
<strong>Daiwa House</strong><br />The installation in the meditation space is titled "expose."
<strong>Daiwa House</strong><br />The installation was created by Takuya Matsumoto, known for his work on live productions for prominent Japanese rock bands, 3D projection mapping, and NIKE 3D ILLUMINATION, and Takuya Takahashi (Oyster Inc.), acclaimed for sound direction in exhibition spaces.
<strong>Daiwa House</strong><br />The original work "expose" is an installation that allows visitors to experience changes in sensation and emotion by being exposed to various qualities of light in a dark space.
<strong>Daiwa House</strong><br />"expose" features approximately 17,000 LEDs, stretching 272 meters if laid end-to-end. To achieve the expression of "dark light," a custom dimmer capable of 4096 levels of dimming was developed.
<strong>Daiwa House</strong><br />The apartment complex "LIFE" is themed around "living," reflected in its design and concept.
<strong>Daiwa House</strong><br />"LIFE" is a 6-story building with a total of 19 units, ranging from 1LDK to 2LDK.
<strong>Daiwa House</strong><br />The first floor of the apartment building houses a licensed daycare center.
<strong>Daiwa House</strong><br />The apartment complex "LIFE" is located at Shinsaku 1-chome, Takatsu Ward, Kawasaki City, Kanagawa Prefecture.
