LOEWE | Jonathan Anderson's "New Loewe"

Designed by Javier Carvajal in 1959 for Serrano, LOEWE’s flagship boutique in Madrid, the emerald green canopy is revived with agate, casting a radiant glow as a ceiling installation along the street and within the store. The green ceiling and bronze frame combine with Nero Marquina, a black marble imported from Spain, to form a cross.
Inside, accents abound, from stone staircases that appear to float to double-hide curtains in structured linen, showcasing beautiful draping.
Meticulously calculated lighting sensually illuminates the naturally lit interior, creating a sense of comfort as if invited into a private residence. Particularly striking are three large glass lamps crafted in Murano, Italy, in the mid-20th century. Hung by the second-floor windows, they emit a warm, soft glow visible from the street at night.
The new brand logo, made from a translucent stone called 'Alabaster Stone,' appears on Omotesando at night with a gentle light. The exterior also makes a unique statement with its emerald green agate canopy and structured curtains extending from the second to the first floor.
A cashmere knit with a mesh-like pattern, characterized by its cropped length, paired with LOEWE's iconic 'Flamenco' bag.
The vibrant color palette is also worth noting. Jonathan Anderson's signature genderless pieces are amplified by androgynous models.
Knitwear designs, conveying a sense of freedom, feature various woven patterns. The presentation of two identical items in different colors each is also a fresh approach.
Rider's jackets are given a unique expression through their distinctive woven fabric. The generously rolled-up bottoms define a one-of-a-kind style.
The signature 'Oro' color, a testament to LOEWE's heritage, is used in the distinctive single-piece trench coat.
