BMW prototype. Ambient light illuminates during charging to indicate status. Coils between the vehicle and ground are constantly monitored, and charging is immediately stopped if foreign objects are detected.
Charging status can be managed remotely via smartphone or tablet.

The "S 500 Plug-in Hybrid," scheduled for release in Europe this summer, boasts a maximum output of 325 kW and peak torque of 650 Nm by assisting its V6 twin-turbo engine with a motor, achieving 0-100 km/h acceleration in 5.2 seconds. Meanwhile, fuel economy is 2.8 L/100 km (approximately 35.7 km/L) with CO2 emissions of just 65 g/km.
