"watch collection “draftsman” for by|n"
Named after the drafting tools used by draftsmen who create precise blueprints and drawings, this series of watches captures their essence. The first release, "scale," features a layout where the markings are arranged like a ruler, and to further emphasize the "ruler-like" quality, the markings are printed directly onto the glass rather than the dial.

"Harcourt-chessboard for Baccarat"
A chess set designed using the "Harcourt" glass, first introduced in 1841 and considered synonymous with Baccarat, the long-established French crystal manufacturer. The pieces are crafted from transparent crystal and a deep navy crystal known as "midnight blue." The board is made of intersecting acrylic panels to enhance the transparency of the pieces, with a deep navy coloring applied to the underside to create a checkerboard pattern on the surface. A single red accent, Baccarat's signature color, is added in one spot.
"magne-hinge for by|n"
This eyewear uses magnets instead of screws to secure the hinge, reducing concerns about loosening or breakage and allowing for easy attachment and detachment of the temples. The frame is crafted from 0.8mm thick titanium, with magnets that wrap around to secure it. By sandwiching another magnet between the two magnets, both repulsive and attractive forces are utilized for fixation, while also enabling the temples to fold. Pulling horizontally easily detaches the temples, allowing users to mix and match with multiple temples of different colors or materials for a single front (lenses + frame).

"brushstroke" for Glasitalia
By painting transparent glass from the back and then applying a spray coating of another color over it, the two colors blend together due to the brushstrokes, creating a natural texture reminiscent of wood grain or stone. This material, which fuses the tension of glass's gloss and smoothness with the irregular texture of handwork, is used to create a collection of eight items, including side tables, consoles, benches, and dining tables.

"print-chair" for Milan Design Week
A chair that appears to have two surface materials blended together by printing one material over wood. Variations in the blend were achieved by layering different wood species, printing enlarged and blurred wood grain, or slightly shifting scanned data from the same wood. The combination of different materials was also explored, such as using OSB composite board as the base wood or printing marble patterns. Through repeated fine-tuning of scale, density, and color, unique to printing technology, the aim was to bring out the appeal of natural materials from various perspectives.

"Camper tribute by nendo" for Camper
"Beetle," a lightweight and water-resistant evolution of Camper's long-standing classic, "Peu Ideal." Exploring further possibilities for evolution based on the Beetle, the design focused on the elastic "shoelace." Recognizing the comfort provided by the shoelace and the "knot" as a symbolic element of Camper, a design was proposed where the entire shoe is enveloped in woven laces. This elevates the laces from a supporting role to the main feature, creating a new aesthetic and a functional shoe with an excellent fit.

"rassen" for 箸蔵まつかん by|n meister
Obama City in Fukui Prefecture is a traditional production center for lacquered chopsticks, with a history spanning over 400 years. Since the early Edo period, "Wakasa-nuri" has been praised as Japan's most durable and elegant lacquered chopsticks. These chopsticks were born from a collaboration with "Hashikura Matsukan," a company that carries on this traditional craftsmanship into the modern era. The chopsticks, which are normally two separate pieces, are designed to function as one. They are separated in half for use and then intertwine to become one again when not in use. This was made possible by combining the craftsmanship of artisans with digitally controlled multi-axis cutting machines.

STATIONARY COLLECTION "flip pen" for by|n
A pen where the majority of the body is the "cap." By attaching the cap to the opposite end, it transforms from a "pen" into a "stylus pen" for tablets. Additionally, by switching to the included short cap, it can be carried compactly.
STATIONARY COLLECTION "peel pen-case" for by|n
After opening the pen case, it can be turned into a simple pen stand by "peeling" it open. This design considers not only portability but also its use on a desk.
"heads or tails" for Pen magazine
A collection of three pet products for dogs: a "bed," a "bowl," and a "toy." The bed, finished in synthetic leather, transforms into a "hut shape" when the dog burrows inside and functions as a "cushion" when they lie on top. The ceramic bowl can be inverted, changing from a shallow "food bowl" to a deep "water bowl." The silicone rubber "bone-shaped" toy transforms into a "ball" by turning its ends inside out. The resulting stable shape when deformed is a polygonal mesh structure of continuous triangles, available in black and white to blend with interiors.

"chocolate-paint" for by|n
Chocolate designed to resemble a paint set. Just as a paint set contains tubes of various colors, this chocolate contains syrups of different flavors. The labels indicate the flavor names and also serve as wrappers to keep fingers clean when eating. The design links the excitement of opening a new box of paints as a child with the thrill of opening a surprise box of chocolates.

"sekki" for ラッキーウッド by|n meister
LUCKY WOOD, founded in 1868 in Tsubame City, Niigata Prefecture, is a pioneer in domestic cutlery production. Renowned for its metalworking techniques, including "polishing," these dessert cutlery pieces were designed to showcase these skills. Available in three types—spoon, fork, and knife—their silhouettes are intentionally irregular, resembling primitive "stone tools." The uneven shapes are difficult to machine, naturally relying on the artisan's intuition and handwork. The thickness and weight are also substantial, like "stone," and the flat back was designed to enhance their "solid mass" appearance. This was achieved by repeating the press process, typically done once, seven times on thick metal plates. The surface treatment features a matte finish achieved with sandblasting in the indented areas, while all other parts are mirror-polished, creating an expression that appears as if "carved away."
"fishline chair" for Biennale Interieur
By winding fishing line tightly around a wooden chair, a glossy surface with fine, uneven textures was created. Furthermore, by dyeing the fishing line beforehand, it was possible to achieve coloring that highlighted the wood grain, similar to varnish. This explores and examines a finishing method different from applying coatings to the wood surface.
