Test Drive the New MINI, Now in Its Third Generation | MINI Gallery

The new MINI has a slightly larger body. The Cooper measures 3,821mm long, 1,727mm wide, and 1,414mm high, making it 98mm longer, 44mm wider, and 7mm taller.
The tread is 1,501mm front and 1,501mm rear, an increase of 42mm and 34mm respectively.
The "MINI Driving Modes" is a new feature in the new MINI. In each mode—Sport, Mid, or Green—you can adjust the throttle response, steering feel, gear shift timing (AT only), and damper stiffness.
Starting is now done with a keyless push-button system.
The tires fitted are 175/65R15 84H on both front and rear.
The rear seats fold in a 60:40 split, and the trunk capacity is up to 211 liters.
The Cooper is equipped with a 1,499cc inline 3-cylinder, direct-injection, DOHC, turbocharged engine. It produces a maximum output of 100kW (136 ps) and a maximum torque of 220Nm (230Nm with overboost).
There are few visual changes. The taillights are larger, and the headlights are more raked, but the overall impression remains the same.
Dial-type climate control system
The head-up display, newly equipped in the new MINI, uses a transparent type that displays information without obstructing the driver's view.
The Cooper S front grille features a honeycomb structure.
The Cooper S tailpipe is a dual center exit.
The Cooper S is powered by a 1,998cc inline 4-cylinder, direct-injection, DOHC, turbocharged engine. It produces a maximum output of 141kW (192 ps) and a maximum torque of 280Nm (300Nm with overboost).
