In March 2014, Volkswagen launched "electrified!" and held an e-mobility week, during which they began sales of the "e-Golf."
The "e-UP!," which went on sale earlier (deliveries began in spring 2014), was also on display.

Volkswagen believes that "simply building electric cars is not enough," and they are considering reducing total CO2 emissions from mobility by looking back at the power generation process.
