The Pinnacle of the S-Class and the Final Edition of the SLS AMG Arrive

Following the "S 63 AMG long," which has received overwhelming acclaim since its release, the "S 65 AMG long," an AMG flagship model boasting superior specifications, made its world premiere. It is powered by a 6.0-liter V12 twin-turbo engine, delivering a maximum output of 630 ps and a peak torque of 102.0 kgm. The transmission is an AMG Speedshift Plus 7G-Tronic. This new 7-speed automatic transmission features wide gear ratios, enabling relaxed driving with lower engine speeds, which also contributes to improved fuel efficiency. As V12 models represent a distinct class even within AMG, this vehicle promises an exceptional driving experience.

The other world premiere is the "SLS AMG Final Edition." This represents the ultimate evolution of the "SLS AMG," which has captivated supercar enthusiasts worldwide since its debut at the 2009 Frankfurt Motor Show. Developed based on the "SLS AMG GT," it is equipped with a 6.2-liter V8 engine producing a maximum output of 435 kW (591 ps) and a peak torque of 650 Nm (66.3 kgm). It is paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission named "AMG Speedshift DCT." Performance figures include 0-100 km/h acceleration in 3.7 seconds and a top speed of 320 km/h. The exterior also features exclusive carbon fiber components, including the bonnet and wings, befitting a final model. Production will be limited to 350 units worldwide, after which the "SLS AMG" line will conclude.

Also on display was the "Concept S-Class Coupé," a luxury coupe concept car that garnered attention at the September Frankfurt Motor Show. With a high likelihood of reaching production in the near future, this concept is certainly worth a closer look.
