The New MINI's Engine Revealed | MINI Gallery

A 2.0-liter, four-cylinder, direct-injection twin-power turbo engine producing 141kW (192ps) of maximum output and 280Nm (28.5kgm) of peak torque. This engine, which reportedly generates a formidable 300Nm (30.6kgm) of torque with overboost, is expected to be fitted in the new Cooper S.
The 1.5-liter, three-cylinder, direct-injection twin-power turbo engine, anticipated for the new Cooper, boasts a maximum output of 100kW (136ps) and generates 220Nm (22.4kgm) of peak torque at just 1,250rpm. Furthermore, overboost delivers a maximum torque of 230Nm (23.4kgm).
