Ford is building a system to develop globally standardized vehicles, dubbed "One Ford," and deliver them worldwide from production bases closest to each market. Henceforth, there will be no distinction between American Ford and European Ford; under the blue oval emblem, it will be "the World's Ford."

The powertrain is a 1,998cc inline-4 engine. With a maximum output of 125kW (170ps) and peak torque of 202Nm (20.6kgm), direct injection and Ti-VCT (Intake and Exhaust Variable Valve Timing) technology achieve powerful performance alongside excellent fuel efficiency.
The Focus interior resembles an aircraft cockpit, designed for intuitive understanding with all essential controls within fingertip and sight.
A lower seating position enhances the sense of unity between car and driver.
The new Focus offers ample space in the rear for three adults to sit comfortably.
The meter panel features a futuristic layout with a central TFT LCD monitor.
The new Focus employs a 6-speed automatic (dual-clutch) transmission. Manual operation is also possible using the "+" and "-" buttons on the left.
The engine start button is located deep to the left of the steering wheel.
Bi-xenon headlights, incorporating LEDs, lend a sharp, piercing gaze to the front mask.
With its highly distinctive design, such as mounting the taillights on the upper D-pillars, Ford's global "Kinetic Design" has transformed the Focus's style into something sportier and more dynamic than ever before.
Both front and rear wheels are fitted with 215/50R17 tires.
