BVLGARI | Top Creators Discuss the Allure of "Bulgari Bulgari"

During the Roman Empire, emperors who wielded immense power created coins bearing their likeness and name to assert their authority. The emperor was the empire itself, and the currency was the ultimate proof of that.
A rare digital watch with the "BVLGARI ROMA" logo on the front of its gold case. Its style, incorporating 1970s trends like the strap made of natural hemp cord, remains fresh and captivating today.
At the "Bulgari Bulgari" exhibition held in Omotesando, a diverse range of models reflecting the trends of each era were displayed, including a digital model gifted in 1975 (center), the first model from 1977 (right), and a pocket watch from 1989 (left).
The first model, launched in 1977, can be considered the direct ancestor of the Bulgari Bulgari watch. It was a simple two-hand watch with a manual-winding movement. The gold case has a diameter of 30mm and features a black enamel dial.

The "Bulgari Bulgari" exhibition, which explored the history and allure of this iconic watch through precious archival pieces, was held from July 3rd (Wednesday) to July 15th (Monday, holiday) at the "Bulgari Omotesando Twin Shop."
At the "Bulgari Omotesando Twin Shop," where the "Bulgari Bulgari" exhibition was held, historical advertising visuals from the era were also displayed alongside the watch collection.
