The IS 350 is powered by a 3,456cc V6 engine. It produces a maximum output of 234kW (318ps) at 6,400 rpm and a maximum torque of 380Nm (38.7kgm) at 4,800 rpm, but its JC08 mode fuel economy of 10.0 km/ℓ is not high.

The powertrain, with an engine output of 131kW (178ps) at 6,000 rpm, engine torque of 221Nm (22.5kgm) at 4,200-4,800 rpm, and a motor output of 105kW (143ps) and 300Nm (30.6kgm), generates a system output of 162kW (220ps) through Lexus Hybrid Drive (LHD). Its environmental performance is exceptionally good with fuel economy of 23.2km/ℓ and CO2 emissions of 100g/km, and it is also noteworthy for its low CO2 emissions over its entire lifecycle.
The EV driving mode is also a feature of the hybrid model.
