Maximum torque of 600Nm is generated the moment the accelerator is pressed, lifting the front.
The test car is equipped with 21-inch tires.
On the rear wheels, which are the drive wheels, there is a small caliper, presumably for regenerative braking, in addition to the normal brake caliper.
The turn signal cover reads 'Signature'.
The door handle pops out with a light tap. Normally, it is flush with the body to reduce air resistance.
The door handle pops out with a light tap.
The charging connector is on the side of the taillight. It supports 110V, 220V, and 440V, but this is a North American specification as it is a test car. The official specification is planned to support CHAdeMO.
The cockpit is very simple, with almost all buttons integrated into the central 17-inch touchscreen display.
The huge 17-inch central monitor is touch-sensitive and can be used to start the car, adjust suspension and regenerative braking levels, display vehicle power consumption information, and show front and rear view monitors. When officially introduced in Japan, it will support mobile phone connectivity, with Google Maps serving as the navigation system.
Many of the functions on the central monitor can also be operated by combining the steering wheel buttons with the display on the instrument panel, which is also an LCD screen. Even opening and closing the sunroof can be done from here.
The column shift is similar to that of a Mercedes-Benz.
Vehicle settings screen
Trim panel with a unique textured surface.
The area where the meter would normally be in a car is also an LCD screen. The display can be switched in various ways.
Front center storage
The rear wheels are the drive wheels, but since there is a motor in the rear axle, the floor is flat.
Tesla calls this the 'frunk'. Its capacity is 150 liters. There is also a tunnel beyond the net, which, when combined, brings the capacity to 229 liters.
The rear space is 744 liters.
With the rear seats folded down, it is 1,645 liters.
There is also storage space under the trunk.
