The Concept A was also exhibited. This next-generation A-Class is slated for release in Japan in 2013. Compared to the current A-Class, it features a more flowing, shooting brake-style body design, and the company aims to appeal to customers who may not have previously considered a Mercedes.
Additionally, the new M-Class, ML350 BLUETEC, will be introduced next summer. This model is equipped with a 3.0-liter V6 CDI engine.
smart announced the "forvision" EV concept. The adoption of 100% plastic wheels reduces the weight of each wheel by 3kg. It features the world's first translucent roof, with the entire surface covered in solar cells. These innovations are said to increase the cruising range by 20% without changing the battery.
