The highlight of the Porsche booth was the new 911, making its Japanese debut. As previously reported by OPENERS, despite a slight increase in size, including a 100mm longer wheelbase, the car achieves a 115kg weight reduction through the extensive use of aluminum and other lightweight metals. Although the body is larger, the finished design feels remarkably compact and refined. While orders began on November 10th in Japan, 200 customers have already placed theirs.
Another Japanese debut was the Panamera GTS. This is the sportiest model of the Panamera, which had its world premiere at the recent LA Auto Show. It boasts 0-100km/h acceleration in 4.3 seconds and a top speed of 288km/h, while also achieving impressive fuel efficiency of 10.7L/100km.
